As many of you know, I recently became a member at a studio in the West Bottoms! Access to this studio is amazing for my boudoir clients, and I am so excited to have a wonderful and consistent space to shoot these sessions. It is also giving me the opportunity to be a little creative and try some new things! When I saw this dark grey background in the studio I knew it was time to push myself outside of my comfort zone a little bit and try something a bit more dark and moody…not to mention Halloween was the next big holiday on the calendar! I immediately got to work planning this styled halloween boudoir inspiration session!
Halloween is an opportunity that comes around once a year to don a costume and become someone or something else. This witchy shoot was inspired by classic witchcraft elements and beautiful black lingerie from Bluebella. We chose black, white, and gold as a simple yet striking and elegant color palette. A bed scene, with a black gothic headboard was the main studio setting, along with a simple dark grey to highlight the model, and a beautiful window. Our model personified beauty and a little bit of witchy mischief. Along with the dark decor, we had some dark candied apples, a spider cake with a surprise inside, and a little hand-lettered sign that says “something wicked this way comes…”
I have to give the biggest THANK YOU to all of the wonderful vendors who collaborated with me on this session. Happy Halloween from a spooky Spencer Studios!!
