My name is Meghan, and I'm a photographer who specializes in wedding and boudoir photography. I am driven and passionate. I have a wonderful husband who is my biggest supporter. I am honest, loyal, and love to throw parties. I love coffee with brown sugar and popcorn with extra butter. Personal connections with people are my biggest driving force. And one of my favorite feelings in the world is creating stunning images for people to cherish of their life and their people.

We've all had our own individual and unique journey to get where we are.  Some photographers started out knowing that this is the life they wanted.  Others happened upon it and found it so live-giving that they decided to pursue it further.  But no matter what brought you here, you're here because you want to be better.

I will never profess to know it all.  Owning a small business, no matter what it might be, comes with ups and downs for all of us.  We all make mistakes along the way, and learn from them.  What I'm here to do is to take what I've learned and help the next generation of photographers who is ready to take that leap into creating life-giving work.

Every photographer is different, and what you choose to carry is completely up to you.  That being said, the choices that you make in gear can effect the kind of images you create.  Personally, I like to generally keep things pretty light; I am definitely not a gear head!  I have found the right things for me to create the images I want, and don't carry what I don't need.  This is the gear I have and use regularly:

For boudoir & engagement sessions:
  - Canon 5D Mark II
  - Canon 50mm 1.4
  - Canon 24mm 2.8 (for one or two wide shots)

For weddings:
  - Canon 5D Mark II
  - Canon 50mm 1.4
  - Canon 24mm 2.8
  - Canon 70-200mm 2.8
  - cheap macro extender tube
  - Cheetah lightstands (x2)
  - Younutno 600RT Flashes (x3)
  - Battery pack
  - Enloop rechargeable batteries
  - Canon 6D (as a back-up)

Albums | Your First heirloom

I believe in albums.  I believe in printing your photographs.  I believe in creating artwork out of your most important memories so that they can be cherished for generations to come.  That is why every single one of my clients get a beautiful album from their wedding; to love, enjoy, and share for years and years.  Through good times and bad.  When technology keeps moving, an album stands still as a testament to your love story, and the beginning of your life together.

An album credit is included in every package I offer to give you a jumpstart on creating the perfect album to tell the story of your wedding day.
