Carlos & Sarah | Snowy Winter Kansas Wedding

February 6, 2020

Sarah always dreamed of a snowy wedding day. When she chose a January wedding date she was just hoping for snow and I was so happy in the week leading up to her & Carlos’ wedding when it SNOWED!! I have to say this was probably the coldest wedding I’ve had, with portrait time being a balmy 17 degrees, but it was so worth every second outside!! After getting ready at the salon, and dressed at the church, Sarah did a first look with Carlos to make sure they had plenty of time for photos before sunset. I absolutely love when my clients choose to do first looks because I have the opportunity to capture that moment with gorgeous light and more freedom to get the perfect angle. After their ceremony we headed to Deer Ridge Estate (their reception location) for portraits in the SNOW! We even took advantage of their outdoor ceremony space for portraits. After the couple and their friends & family ate, drank, and danced the night away we finished off the night with a private moment, dancing in the snow. It was a stunning wintery wedding day for Carlos & Sarah! Also, check out Carlos & Sarah’s engagement session HERE where they feature their precious pup!
