I met Sarah last January and we hit it off right away. I will never forget the half an hour we spent talking about Downton Abby at their bridal consult while Jeff just shook his head. We have very similar styles in a lot of ways, and I am so excited for the creative direction that she is heading for her wedding day. Sarah is one of those brides that I absolutely trust will plan the most beautiful day, and I am so excited that I get to be a part of that 🙂
We decided to do their engagement session in late spring, but boy did we pick a hot day. Luckily, we did find ourselves some air conditioning halfway through their session, and we also stopped for some ice cold water to keep us cool. It ended up being a beautiful day with gorgeous light and we had a blast creating some awesome images and getting to know each other better. First, we headed to Burgdorf’s Winery to check out the wine room and wander through the vines. We then headed to the MSU Horticulture Garden to get a bit of variety. I know that this is a popular location for sessions here in East Lansing, but I had never been there before and enjoyed exploring it for the first time.
