I am proud to say that I will someday be related to these two wonderful people.  The groom is my fiance’s best friend and cousin, and the bride has become one of my good friends because of it.  They are two peas in a pod, and I was unbelievably honored when they asked me to photograph their wedding.  About a year ago, they brought me down to where they live in Kansas to shoot their engagement photos.  Then on July 7th, 2012, these two were wed 🙂

This was potentially the most entertaining wedding I have ever attended.  The Spencer Family is always full of a song, or game of some sort, and this wedding was full of both of them.  Some of it was planned, other parts of it were not, but the couple loved every minute of it.  I don’t think I’ve ever laughed so hard during a wedding reception in my life (it does help that my fiance was a part of all the craziness).

I’m so happy and excited to be around to watch the two of them grow in their love over the years, and to eventually watch their family grow too.  Megan & Jesse, love you both!!
