Since this week has been the hottest of the year, I figured this was the perfect time to share images from a session during the coldest week of the year! Lev & Kelsey hired me to photograph their wedding in 2017 (you can check it out HERE) so when they let me know they were pregnant and wanted me to photograph their maternity session I was absolutely ecstatic!! During the wedding planning process I get to know and care for my clients so much, it means to world to get to follow them through their life to document all of those big (and little) moments!
Lev & Kelsey live in Colorado now, and we made a plan for me to fly out for their session toward the end of their pregnancy. We started their session at their home; they wanted to capture their life as the two of them, cooking in the kitchen, braiding a challah, and just being at home together with their pup Kacey. After we got the challah in the oven, we headed up into the mountains. Like I said, it was the coldest week of the year and it had started snowing so we had to hop in and out of the car to keep from completely freezing. But as cold as it was, it was worth every moment because these two, loving on each other as the snow fell, was absolutely stunning!
I’m so honored and touched that these two brought me out for this session to document this major change in their lives. Lev & Kelsey’s little bundle of joy, Lila, was born a few weeks later. I haven’t met her yet, but I cannot wait until I get to ❤️
