This engagement session was seriously something out of a dream.  Matt & Ellen were one of the easiest couples to photograph I’ve ever had, and the location was one of the most beautiful I’ve ever had the opportunity to shoot.  This session was a long time coming, but totally worth the wait!!

 

When Matt and Ellen got engaged I was so excited for them!  Ellen is a dear friend from high school, who I’ve kept in touch with over the years.  I could tell instantly that Matt was a wonderful guy, that made Ellen so very happy; they are totally perfect for each other!  It’s always great so see friends grow up and find the love of their lives 🙂  We decided to put their engagement session off until under a month from their wedding because we wanted to do it in Colorado (where Matt is living, and they both will be moving after the wedding).  It was hard to wait that long, and I had some quick editing to do, but it was totally worth it!  We really had a blast during their session.  I don’t think I’ve ever had a couple laugh as much as these two, and I didn’t even have to try very hard.  And the way they look at each other, you just know that this is a wonderful love.  I’m just excited that I get to be there when these two say “I DO” a week from now, to document the beginning of their lives together!
