Michael and Brandi are one of my Nebraska couples, but decided to come down to KC for their engagement session to do something a bit different!  Of course we planned this trip way in advance, and had no idea that the date they picked would be the date of the last snow this season, but we made the best of it.  I’d been dying to try out an engagement session in a greenhouse, and had the perfect one in mind.  Brandi loves the outdoors, so I knew that this would be a great fit for them and it would get us out of the elements for at least part of their session! We ended it all off with a bit of time outside, because who else is going to have spring and winter together in one engagement session!  It was pretty chilly, but they were champs and it was totally worth it.

 

These two are seriously so cute together!  Though Michael could work on this joke tell (come on man!!) he was still always able to make Brandi laugh!  I really enjoyed photographing these two, and I cannot wait for their big wedding in Lincoln Nebraska this July!

 

 

A huge thanks to Family Tree Nursery for allowing us to hang out with them in their adorable greenhouse on this snowy day!  If you are in the KC area and need new plants, it’s defiantly worth checking out!  They have three locations all over the metro, and are family owned.  Their succulent area was the best I’ve ever seen, which is my favorite because succulents are the only thing I can keep alive 🙂
