Spencer Household Christmas Decor!!

December 16, 2014

I love decorating for Christmas, and I love throwing parties.  These two loves came together in one glorious night where my husband and I threw a party at our home for the other graduate students in his department.  (He’s working on his master’s at MSU, which is why we live where we do!)  It was nice to be able to open our home to our friends, while also being able to really share my Christmas decorations for the first time.  I’m so happy with how it turns out every year, as I continue to add little things to the collection of ornaments and decor.

For the party, we also put together a hot chocolate bar, and it was totally a hit!!  We had mugs and hot cocoa mix, with all sorts of fixings so our guests could make their hot cocoa exactly how they like it.  It was actually pretty easy to put it all together, and I topped it off with a fun chalkboard sign that was originally made for our wedding.  The centerpiece on the table and candle holders on the bookshelf are also a bit of wedding decor 🙂

I wish everyone a wonderfully happy Holiday Season!!!

I also set up a photobooth for a little bit of fun.  Here are some of my favorite images, and a little behind the scenes look at how I set it up!
