I have always traveled. Growing up, my mom would take me out of school to travel and learn things that you can’t learn in a classroom. Throughout high school and college I was able to travel from one edge of the country to another, and even to Europe. We honeymooned in Ireland and it was hands down the best week of my life. Being able to see new places and explore new things is something that I get so excited about. Unlike most people, I even enjoy flying. (Though in all honesty, I’m bit nervous until I get past security). I’m always planning my next trip somewhere, even if it’s only an hour away from home.
I have made the decision to put my two loves together, and officially launch the destination wedding photography part of my business. This has been in the works for almost a year, and I’m excited to start this new adventure. Destination weddings come with a whole different set of challenges, which I know will take some time to iron out. Driving an hour or two to photograph a wedding with a couple I’ve met many times is much different than spending a few days somewhere completely new with a couple that I may not meet face to face beforehand. Nonetheless, I’m unbelievably excited for the next part of my personal journey.
To kick start my destination weddings, I have decided to give away a free destination wedding photography package. I don’t normally do a lot of giveaways, but I’ve been very excited about this one. I hope to find a really awesome couple and help them create beautiful images of their destination wedding!

Winner will receive a free destination wedding package, that includes 2 days of coverage, an assistant (2nd) photographer, and digital negatives from their wedding! Winning couple will be announced October 1st, 2014!

Winning couple must provide travel expenses and lodging for Meghan and her assistant photographer for at least 3 nights. Couple will be chosen by Meghan, based on personality fit, and wedding date/location.
