When we were discussing our plan for Mike & Marcela’s engagement session, they immediately suggested Loose Park! On the day that Mike was to propose, they went for a picnic in the park and then a walk in the Rose Garden. When Mike got down on one knee and asked Marcela to marry him she says she “was completely surprised! I kept saying, no?! and seriously?!” Marcela is seriously one of the sweetest brides I’ve ever worked with, and I love seeing how much Mike cares for her. I enjoyed spending an evening enjoying the park and chatting about their plans for their wedding day.
We finished off their engagement session at The Rieger, a local restaurant and bar where they had their first date, because they love going out for drinks together! Mike asked Marcela out for appetizers and drinks on their first date, instead of dinner, which they love to joke about now. And don’t worry, after we finished the session we enjoyed our drinks and the lovely evening on the patio in downtown Kansas City 🙂
Mike & Marcela will be getting married this October, and I’m so excited for their big day in just a few months!!
